Shareef + Chip = A Double Whammy

So, just where do you find a guy whose business spends less than fifty grand a year yet generates over $250 million in revenue? Who has an army of 3,000 loyal employees, half of whom clean toilets for a living?

Shareef Mahdavi has a knack for finding business leaders whose principles can be applied to the world of refractive surgery. For this event, he teams up with Chip Conley, a dynamic CEO who leads one of the largest boutique hotel groups in the US, with over 40 unique properties in California.

This fast-paced session will focus on helping you build a World Class offering…in the midst of a struggling economy. The answers can be found in helping employees perform at their peak so that customers can have a peak experience. We will be taking those lessons from PEAK, Chip’s latest book, as well as from the research Shareef has been doing for his forthcoming book on helping physicians improve their customer experience. Chip’s lessons on how he survived the post 9-11 tourism collapse to become a leading hotelier are valuable insights for all of us, especially today!

You will also get insight into how Chip views his business and what customers really want when they come to one of his hotels, which he terms “identity refreshment.” We will walk through how he uniquely designs each of the hotel environments to exude a specific theme, a process you can use in your own practice.

This session is designed primarily for surgeons and key decision makers within the practice. Chip and Shareef will be offering perspectives on these topics (among others):
